Acrobatic Classes in Glasgow’s West End
That Builds Strength, Confidence & Performance Skills
Our acrobatic classes in Glasgow's West End combine dance technique with exciting acrobatic movements to help children develop strength, flexibility and confidence in a supportive environment. Based at Kelvin Hall, our classes are suitable for boys and girls who want to challenge themselves, improve their skills and enjoy a fun, energetic style of dance.
What Are Acrobatic Classes?
Acro is a dynamic dance discipline that blends dance movements with acrobatic skills, often referred to as tricks. Students gradually develop the flexibility, balance, strength and coordination needed to perform movements such as balances, lifts, bends, kicks and splits, while continuing to improve their dance technique.
Unlike gymnastics, acro places equal importance on performance and musicality. Classes incorporate elements of ballet, jazz and modern dance, helping students become well-rounded performers while building confidence through steady progression.
Whether your child is new to acro or looking to advance their abilities, our experienced teachers provide structured training that supports safe, enjoyable development.

How Acro Supports a Young Performer's Development
Acrobatic dance offers much more than impressive tricks. It develops physical ability alongside confidence, discipline and resilience that benefit students both in class and beyond.
Students can develop:
- Flexibility, balance and core strength
- Coordination and body control
- Confidence when learning new skills
- Musicality and dance technique
- Determination and resilience through progressive learning
- Performance skills that complement wider dance training
As students grow in confidence, many choose to combine acro with other dance disciplines including Jazz Dance, Modern Dance, Hip Hop or Musical Theatre Dance.
Progressive Acro Training for Every Stage
Our acro dance classes are designed to help students progress safely at a pace suited to their age, experience and confidence.
Beginner Acro Classes
Beginner classes focus on building strong foundations through flexibility, strength and simple acrobatic movements. Students learn correct technique before progressing to more challenging skills.
Advanced Acro Classes
As students develop, they work towards increasingly complex tricks while continuing to strengthen their dance technique, control and performance quality. Specialist qualified teachers also encourage students to work towards graded examinations where appropriate.
Many students begin their journey through our Preschool Classes before progressing through our Junior Programme, Intermediate Classes and Senior Programme. You can explore the complete progression pathway through our Stages at G12.
