Our Respected Theatre School in Glasgow

G12 Performing Arts was founded over four decades ago with a clear vision: to create a theatre school that parents could trust to deliver professional training within a nurturing, family-focused environment. From the beginning, the school was built on the belief that confidence learned through performing arts carries into every part of a child’s life.

Founder Linda comes from a family of Scottish champion dancers and brings a lifetime of experience, passion, and industry knowledge into the school. Her work was featured in a Channel 4 documentary following G12 students travelling to the United States for talent agency signings, highlighting the genuine opportunities created through training at G12.

Over the years, G12 Performing Arts has become one of the most respected theatre schools in the area. Former students have gone on to perform in West End productions, appear in TV campaigns, feature in national adverts, and represent Scotland at international competitions, including the Dance World Cup.

Despite this success, G12 has always remained focused on its core purpose, supporting children as individuals and creating a place where they feel valued, encouraged, and part of a wider family.

What We Offer at Our Theatre School in Glasgow


G12 Performing Arts provides a wide range of performing arts classes, supporting students from their very first class through to advanced training.

Our dance classes include ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, tap, acro, lyrical, stretch, and competition dance. Classes run from preschool through to senior and advanced levels, with a strong emphasis on technique, expression, and performance confidence.

Our drama classes focus on acting, musical theatre, audition preparation, competition drama, and private lessons. Drama training helps students build communication skills, imagination, and stage presence in a supportive environment.

We offer music lessons, including piano, guitar, group vocal lessons, and private vocal coaching. These sessions help students develop musical technique, confidence, and expressive ability.
